Learn To Cycle Supported by Frog Bikes
A Fun Session to Learn Balance and Coordination for Safe and Successful Cycling
Perfect for children aged 2-11, this session helps young riders build the balance and coordination needed for successful cycling. We encourage learners to work alongside their parents or guardians to boost confidence and develop balance, with the ultimate goal of riding independently without assistance.
Both balance bike riders and those on pedal bikes are welcome - we recommend these sessions for any young rider not able to independently cycle for around a minute without stabilisers or help from their grown-ups.
If you’re an older learner (12+) please check this page for availability.
Supported by Frog Bikes.

Sessions take place on the inner track.
Meet at the designated inner track meeting point: beyond the pavilion, at the thick blue line on the floor between the blue seating and the picnic area. The coach will invite riders to cross the track when they are ready.
-
Parents/Guardians: Each young learner must bring at least one parent/guardian to assist in their session.
Latecomer policy: Arriving more than 10 minutes late means your child cannot join, though we’ll try to reschedule. This ensures safety and a quality session for all.
Track Crossings: Once riders and adults cross with the coach, they must remain in the track centre until the session ends. A coach will accompany them when exiting. A toilet is available in the track centre.
Before the session starts: Ensure your child has used the toilet and is ready to ride.
PEDAL BIKE CLUB
(3-8YRS) SUPPORTED BY FROG BIKES
Fun and Friendly 1-Hour Cycling Sessions for Children Under 8
These sessions are designed for young people who can ride a pedal bike unassisted. We focus on improving skills, technique, and confidence through fun exercises and exciting races.
To join, riders should be able to start, stop, and ride for about a minute on their own - without stabilisers or assistance from their grownups. Riders also need to be independent enough to allow their grown-ups to remain outside the track fence.

YOUTH CYCLE SKILLS (6-10YRS)
Youth Cycle Skills: Level Up Your Cycling
This session is designed for young riders who want to take their cycling skills to the next level. Combining fun activities, games, and races, it’s the perfect opportunity for those looking to build on their skills and progress to our track cycling or off-road sessions.
If your child is under 8, we recommend they first try the Pedal Bike Club (see above) and have a chat with our coaches about joining the Youth Cycle Skills session when they’re ready to move forward.
