Racing every Wednesday through from April to September every Wednesday with varying races each week and several adult categories, youth racing and women’s week once a month for everyone to enjoy.

The South London Grand Prix consisting of 2 days of UCI level track racing with riders across the world competing, including the likes of Will Perrett (ex European champion), Alec Briggs and Lucy Nelson to name a few. Join us on the 13th to 14th of June.

Held on the 21st and 23rd of June respectively for the circuit race and road race, riders will battle it out in North Yorkshire to try and gain the coveted national championships jersey, with Herne Hill Velodrome’s very own Fred Wright defending the title this year. Come down to the pavilion to watch the race unfold and treat yourself to refreshments at Jan’s café.

Head down to the velodrome to watch key stages of the Tour de France, starting with Le Grand Depart on the 29th of June and finishing in Nice on the 21st of July. Key stages to watch are stage 1 (29th June), stage 4 (2nd July), stage 14 (13th July), stage 15 (14th July), stage 19 (19th July), stage 20 (20th July) and stage 21 on the 21st.

The women’s Giro d’Italia kicks off on the 7th July so come down to watch them start the event as well as catch the mountainous stage 7 (13th July) and the final stage 8 on the 14th.

Everyday day of the Olympics has a cycling event so come down to Herne Hill to watch the events and enjoy the cafe! (26th July to 11th August)

This year’s Tour embarks on a journey from Rotterdam on the 12th of August to the iconic Alpe d’Huez for stage 8 on the 18th August. Tune in from the pavilion on stages 1 (12th Aug), 4 (15th Aug), 7 (17th Aug) and 8 (18th Aug)
